Beta Participation Agreement

An adult-managed private beta

You are joining Aveluna Learn’s invitation-only Reading and Math beta. You must be at least 18 and a parent or legal guardian authorized to manage the learners in your assigned family. Enter your own parent name, supervise every learning session, choose appropriate activities and review your learners’ progress. The beta allows two active learners per parent-managed family, with a grade selected at creation. Existing saved records are preserved. Learners do not create independent accounts. Your name and agreement acceptance do not verify your identity or guardianship.

Direct notice: information and purposes

We collect your parent name, confirmed email, account/security details and this agreement record. Your family records include learner first names or nicknames, grades/settings, questions and answers, practice accuracy, help/audio use, saved missions and recorded activity time. Hosting/security providers also process request and security information. Avoid surnames, addresses, school credentials, medical documents, photos or recordings. The app does not record children’s voices.

We use this data to provide sign-in, private family access, learning and progress, support, service safety and beta reliability/features. Authorized administrators can monitor accounts, verified app logins, usage and original-practice metrics for these purposes. Other families cannot view your records. Read-aloud uses browser/device voice services with their own processing practices.

Direct notice: providers, privacy and parent control

We use service providers for website and app hosting, secure account access, private data storage, and essential account emails. They process information needed to operate and protect the service. Limited disclosure may also be required by law, account-safety needs or your authorized request. We do not sell or rent personal data, share it for targeted advertising, publish family results or use family data to train AI models.

This agreement authorizes only the operational purposes described here and in the Privacy Policy. It is not permission for unrelated research, marketing, public testimonials or other future uses. New optional purposes require separate informed permission. You can edit your parent name and view assigned learners/progress. Contact support@avelunagroup.com from your parent email to request a copy, correction, deletion or withdrawal of permission for further collection/use. We verify authority and honor applicable rights and necessary legal exceptions. Deactivation alone does not delete records; retention and backups are described in the Privacy Policy.

Trial terms and learning expectations

Diagnostic Practice and supported Learning Practice are original home practice, not official i-Ready diagnostics, score predictions, a complete curriculum or professional advice. No improvement or educational outcome is promised. The beta may change, be interrupted or end. Protect your credentials and use only your assigned family; do not bypass security or redistribute protected materials. The Terms & Conditions describe permitted use, trial limits and mandatory rights.

Your choice and acceptance record

The beta has no beta access charge. Accepting does not create a paid subscription or authorize future charges. Any paid service requires a separate disclosed offer and acceptance. You may decline and sign out, or stop participating and contact support about your records.

If you affirmatively agree, we store the document versions, exact text hash, the parent name you supplied, authenticated account/session and server acceptance time. Nothing is preaccepted, and prior accounts are not treated as having already agreed. Material changes require a new acceptance. This record documents your beta agreement and stated parent authority. Accepting does not waive your privacy or other mandatory legal rights.
